Anyone out there looking for a SERIOUS and potentially LIFE-CHANGING Career change going into 2026 now?
Sadly, (but for a GREAT reason) the time has come to Add on another Personal Assistant to our ever growing/expanding team!
My primary PA of over 6yrs now, Heather, is stepping into a NEW Role for us (Charity and Special Projects) that I'm super freaking excited about in 2026!
Sadly, this leaves a giant gap in all of the things she covers for us.
I'm looking for a REALLY great person who can sliiiide right into the role without much downtime, training, etc.
Someone that has the right heart and spirit, is FUN to work with, energetic, fast paced to keep up with my speed, able to juggle and keep straight when operating within multiple different companies/brands we own, someone that is definitely CAREER oriented and focused, and has the Background, Experience, and SKILL to handle a WIDE variety of things.
It will cover all things Personal/Exec Assistant, which crosses over into Team Mgt and Growth, General Office Operations, Tracking and KPIs, structure and SYSTEMS (heavy focus on systems), and a few other titles within the 1 Role.
It's FT, in my office in Centerville only (no remote, etc) and is 9a-6p and more. It's only the RIGHT fit and alignment for someone who is available, often, most of the time. IE: When the Acq team locks up a deal at 830pm...we all chime in and congratulate them!
Going home at 6p is no issue at all, but there will certainly be tasks and other things to do many of the days, especially during this next 3-4mo ramp-up phase we're in, expanding 6 different companies at once 🙂
FYI: For this role.....You've either 100% got it, or you don't.
I hired Heather as a fresh-faced 23yr old with only 6mo of basic RE Experience. Across the 6yrs, it's immeasurable how many things she's EXPERTLY handled, learned, bettered, improved, solved and resolved, and the woman/person she's grown into!
All with skills and ability SHE brought to the table day one, and with ME/US crafting and honing those skills into the highly-talented person she is today!
Big shoes to fill, yet, remember....she also started somewhere, with zero things on her resume that would tell me to hire her (4yr degree in "Health Communications, wanted to be a Nurse, went a different route, etc).
I will say: For this role, that "Nursing/Giving/Have the right Heart" type of person is absolutely the fit we see most often when we advertise this. Those are the ones who succeed as the thrive on making the Leader look good, having the leader/CEO/Sales Mgrs well prepared, fully stocked, solving their problems, and often....solving them before they even KNOW they are a problem :)
That's the hallmark of a truly AMAZING PA!
There will be OVERWHELM if I put this on any job board, 300+ Applicants, so I'm posting here first, hoping this calls out to the RIGHT person, or that someone here might know the right person.
Just like Heather, if you aren't 100% sure you're wanting a Career for the next 6years in this, and then (or before) elevate into some of our other Roles.....it isn't for you.
So if you're already amazing, great! If you aren't, but know you have the potential...show me! 🙂
I don't much care about a Degree or much else...I care about who you are as a Person. My PRIMARY focus in 2026 is business expansion for the PURELY CLEAR goal if giving massive amounts to charity.
Caveat here so it's clear: I retired in 2015. All done on the financial side, but NOT even close to done on the charity, giving, helping, or having a fulfilling company that I get to work with my best friends every day. So when I say "Charity Focused in 2026" - I don't mean 10% of Net Profits, I mean MORE goes to Charities we privately and quietly support (and will be starting 2) than ever goes to me.
I'm running a business so my best friends, and newly hired people who become friends make a great income above anywhere else they could be, and so that we can impact and help others in MAJOR ways....and I'll measure my results, success, and fulfillment from that (just like I have since 2015) and how much GOOD we get to do.
Not from my deal count, Mercedes count, NET income, or any other silly metric that's 100% irrelevant in the end.
And that's how I'd LOVE to live the rest of my life, permanently.
So - What kind of heart for helping others do you have?
Do you get major fulfillment from being the backbone behind the CEO/Leader, knowing you made him (and thus, the team) highly successful, and LOVE to be that supportive role/character?
If your PERSONAL fulfillment doesn't align with that, and with the charity aspect I mention above...this is 100% NOT for you.
Can you nail a phone call of ANY kind and end it with the RIGHT result 99% of the time? Could be a big deal, a seller, a buyer, booking airfare perfectly, handling a major car insurance claim, buying new Fleet vehicles, working with our accountants, attorneys, and 20 other things.
It's our broadest "Admin" role here, by far.
To get the details out of the way, it has a modest base salary, and a far more (in 3 buckets) Bonus/Profit share that will see you into 6-figures if you're a Quality B+ Performer here.
It's not an EASY role, and it's not EASY to keep up with me. I'm a perfectionist and I move fast, and there's not much new to learn in REI, at any level we want to be at, thus....it's about execution, performance, and GSD (Getting Shiz Done). Not much else.
So it's not easy, but it's hugely fulfilling, and it's a very comfortable, simple, easy team of AMAZING people to work with 🙂
Even being my PA, you will only work with me about 3hrs/day....the rest is all with many other amazing folks, like my best friend Tony! We're casual here, dress casual, have fun, have great office banter, and hire people who we LOVE to work with...not just "like or tolerate."
Life is waaaay too short to hate what you do, or hate who you do it with!
And, hey...the goal with the 9 more people we're adding on (12 total, 2 down, this 1 Role here, and 9 more!) is to make it FAR easier for everyone. But I won't promise that anytime soon....we have a LOT of Good to do and I care about that more than I care about if someone can hack a solid 47-50hrs/week LOL. (I think I worked that once in 1997).
Pardon the crazy long post, and the likely grammar/spelling...I'm posting this and then heading off to Urgent Care for some minor medical thing, so no time to go review/revise LOL.
If you feel like you're the EXACT right fit for this role.....Reach out to me! Send me a long email, like this long post, and tell me all about you, why you're the right fit, all about your life, work history, what you're seeking next in life, and what makes you know for sure it's this super long job ad I placed? Candidly, when I post this job ad on Indeed or similar, I get 300+ replies. So I'm trying to avoid that entirely, only posting it here, and on FB! I'd love to find the right person that this calls out to to respond, vs going through 300 candidates, 280 of which won't read the full ad anyway :)
So if that IS you, tell me a ton of great stuff and say hello by email! Or heck, find me on FB and PM me, I'm not too hard to find ;)
Happy New Year, I hope you have an amazing 2026, no matter what you do/choose in life!
