If you’ve never grown a bare root tree before, let me tell you the benefits:
#1 they are cheaper! Without the cost of soil/pots/transportation they’re a great way to build your orchard!
#2 superior roots! Without container walls to restrict growth (or cause spiraling) they spread faster and establish better than potted trees!
#3 bare root trees are sold dormant which eliminates transplant shock!
