Idaho Pasture Pig Breeding trio. Two proven sows and one proven boar. Sows last litters were late October 2023. They can be bred at any time for a late summer early fall litter. The sows can have two litters a year. One sow has 8-10 each litter the other mom has 6-7. Sows are sisters. The boar can run with the sows in the pasture at all times except when the sows are about a week out from delivery and then 6-8 weeks after farrowing or until the piglets are weaned.
First four photos are of the boar, date of birth 3-6-22. Sam J0710. He weighs about 350 pounds, he has sired 7 litters for us over the last couple years.
The rest of the photos are of the sows date of birth is 7-21-2021 line Heart I1577 and heart I1578. Sows are sisters and from the same litter.
They are currently being fed hay since there is not grass growing. They are feed grain in the amount of 2 1/2pounds twice a day.

We are only selling because we are downsizing our breeding stock and only keeping our original 3 breeders.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN after it had rain for 3 days. It is always Muddy season in Ohio.

The Idaho Pasture Pig (IPP) is a newer breed of pig that is composed of the Duroc, Old Berkshire, and the Kunekune pig. These are true “grazing” pigs and are very gentle in nature, have great personalities, are easy to work with, are smaller in size then traditional pigs, are great mothers, are able to live outdoors all year round, and can grow extremely well with a diet of primarily grass. In the winter they are fed hay.
Mature weights are 300-450.

Location is Huntsville Ohio. If you put zip code 43324 into any driving direction it will give you a great idea of drive time. Any questions please message me, I will respond to all emails, if you do not receive a reply please check your spam folder and/ or message me again
