This set is heavy and made of solid wood. All pieces are in good condition, with drawers, slides, etc. in working order. There are some occasional nicks and scratches in the metal’s black paint, and on the wood finish, especially on the furniture legs; some of these are captured in the photos. There are some small spots with flecks or purple paint, which are captured in photos #8 and #13. The footboard has one of the finials knocked off; the removed finial is present, so re-attaching it or removing the other side’s finial and sanding them down to match may be options. The bedframe is solid wood, and the headboard and footboard are constructed of solid wood and black-painted heavy metal (iron?). The television armoire has double doors which open to a TV-holding tray that slides forward a few inches; inside is a built in two-outlet power strip, which plugs into the wall behind the furniture piece.

This would be an excellent set for a first apartment, or for a crafty individual desiring to paint the furniture a unique color.
