We are Bicycles for All, Dayton's only 501c3 charity bike shop.
We are open Mon or Wed eves only, 6-9PM, downtown in the Oregon District.
We are actually off Patterson across from Dayton Transmission, right before the bridge, in the back parking lot of the Armory Bldg.
A few things about BFA:
We are a registered 501c3 charity.
We have a 100% volunteer staff.
We are funded purely on donations and used adult bike sales.
Bicycles for All is a bicycle charity that provides free bicycles to children, and we sell bike accessories and used adult bikes. Cruiser bikes, hybrid bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, fixie bikes - we have them all.
Do you know a kid that needs a bike? We give those away for FREE (yup free free) - any child who needs a bike just needs to come in to pick out the one they like, and parent or guardian signs for the bike. The child must be present to get fitted for the bike; the adult or guardian must be present to sign for the bike.
Currently we have a surplus of bicycle frames, of all makes and sizes. Prices are negotiable! Many frame sizes are available.
We need volunteers. Don't know anything about bikes? Come in and learn. We have the tools, parts and bikes to repair or tear apart, if you have the time. One time or ongoing, open schedule Mon or Wed evenings between 6-9pm. And showing up is 90% of the success here. Don't be shy. Any time you have to contribute, we are happy for the help.
Do you need a used adult bike? We have so many that need a good home, all of them reasonably priced. We also have many bike accessories, bike trailers, bicycle clothing, and bike shoes.
Monday or Wednesday nights, 6-9pm. We are located at the Oregon District in the Armory Building, back parking lot entrance, at 201 E 6th Street.
No calls, no emails, no shipping, just come in Monday or Wednesday evening to see us.
And YES we will take bikes, accessories, donations, bike parts or clothing, anything bike related you no longer want or need
