I have an older set of dishes made for children back in the 40's or 50's. they are made in Japan and have what is called a lusterware finish. There are 6 cups and saucers, and 6 plates. It has a teapot with lid, sugar bowl and lid, creamer, casserole with lid, oval platter and a gravy boat.there are no chios or cracks or crazing but some the gold luster surface is fading.
