We are getting new kitchen appliances so selling this. We are still using it until the new appliances are installed in the next couple weeks. So this will not be available for pickup until it’s removed when the new appliances are installed.

UPDATE: our new appliances were installed, so the dishwasher has been removed and now is available to be picked up.

• Interior: Stainless Steel
• Racks – Upper and lower racks are sturdy metal with plastic coating with a removeable silverware caddy.
• Front controls with indicators
• Heating element - For heating water and heated drying
• Filter – continuously filters the wash water

• Options: High Temp. Wash, Energy Saver Dry, Delay 2, 4, or 6 hours
• User guide/instructions and installation instructions booklets.

Please note: It works fine with one exception: We’ve always used Cascade Complete powder dishwasher detergent and have never had any issues. Recently we decided to buy a box of Cascade Platinum Pods and began using those. We noticed sometimes the floor in front of the dishwasher would be damp after they cycle was complete. Looking closer, during the wash cycle, we noticed some suds coming out of the bottom of the door and that would drip onto the floor, leaving moisture on the floor. We contacted Cascade and they told us they only recommend using the pods in dishwashers which specifically state they were designed to use them and the Cascade Platinum pods can produce more suds than the Cascade Complete powder and suggested we contact Kitchenaid to see if they recommended the Platinum pods for this specific model dishwasher. When we contacted Kitchenaid, they told us the recommended detergent for use in this model dishwasher was Cascade powder and while other detergents could work, they did not have any recommendations on any specific pods for this model. They did mention that installing a new lower door seal may help if we want to continue to use the pods. We switched back to using Cascade Complete powder and the problem went away. So please be aware of this if you plan to use pods for detergent – we don’t know about other brands of pods, since we only used the Cascade Platinum pods. Also, the problem didn’t happen every time.

Sorry for the long explanation, but we want to be sure to note everything so there are no surprises.

Smoke-free, pet-free, pest-free home
